In Washington DC today

Left early this morning for meetings with several government agencies in Washington, DC. We are going to be promoting the Women's Empowerment Principles for the next few days there.

2nd Vice President Freda Miriklis accompanied President Liz Benham to the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit and ECOSOC 2010 High-Level Segment meetings at the United Nations in New York during June, (more information on the attached link)

Currently working out of the office in New York

There have been several important meetings in New York City. We have been working with UNIFEM on the Women's Principles, getting them translated, and working on a Toolkit to make it easy for all the local clubs to raise awareness of them. Watch for more information in the coming months.

In Santiago Chile now at the Global Summit with Yasmin Darwich regional coordinator Latin America. Got a quick shot with president Michelle Bachelet,Chile ( even though very jet lagged)with the help of Yasmin



Travelled to London, Horsham to organize and inspect the archives of BPW International.


Got it all done with past president Sylvia Perry assistant executive secretary Ann Swain and Patricia director presidents office.

Busy days of meetings and inspections of venues for the next Congress. President BPW Finland and Myself going through documentation.

Finlandia Hall is beautiful building and will be a wonderful place for our Congress. The executive board and members are all working hard .
